Nach der Transaktion werden die Familie Völkers und ein Teil des Management-Teams im Zuge eines Re-Investments weiterhin knapp 40 % der Anteile an dem Unternehmen halten. Gründer Christian Völkers wird Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats bleiben.

Lupp + Partner advised the shareholders of Engel & Völkers, a leading international property brokerage platform on the sale of a majority stake to the global private equity firm, Permira. Following the transaction, the Völkers family and part of the management team will retain almost 40% of the shares in the company and the founder, Christian Völkers, will become Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
